For how long will my data be saved on MyOperator servers?

InfoQuick answerDuring your active subscription, recent call data remains live and directly accessible in the MyOperator panel for the last 6 months. Older data is moved to an archive for long-term retention and is available via export on request. After your service ends, panel access stops; you can request an export within 30 days of deactivation.

Live vs archived data

Live data (last 6 months)

  • Stored on primary storage for fast, self-serve access in your panel
  • Best for day-to-day reporting, filters, and quick CSV exports

Archived data (older than 6 months)

  • Stored in long-term storage for durability and compliance
  • Still available, but exports may take longer to prepare

TipIf a report doesn’t show older records, request an archive export.

Archived (older than 6 months)

  1. Collect the date range and any filters you need (e.g., numbers, departments).
  2. Contact support@myoperator.co (or your Account Manager) and request an archive export.
  3. We’ll prepare the export and share the download details once ready.

After deactivation

  • When your service ends, your data is no longer accessible through the panel.
  • You can still request an export within 30 days of deactivation by emailing support.
  • After that window, data may be deleted or anonymised per our data-handling policies and applicable law.

Edge cases & notes

  • Legal/regulatory holds: If applicable, legal holds may extend retention regardless of the windows above.
  • Backups & disaster recovery: Backup copies exist for resilience and follow a separate rotation.
  • Contractual terms: If your MSA/DPA specifies retention/residency requirements, those terms control.
  • Performance: Archive exports can take longer during peak periods or for very large ranges.
