Connect FBM from the MyOperator panel under WhatsApp → Accounts → Apply for WhatsApp Business API, then sign in via FBM login details, select or create a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), complete business details, and submit for Meta review (≈ 1 hour).
When should I use this guide?
Follow these steps the first time you link a Facebook Business Manager to MyOperator so you can provision a WhatsApp number and start sending messages through the WhatsApp Business API.
1. Prerequisites
- You must be an Admin inside the target Facebook Business Manager (FBM).
- A business phone number that is not registered on any WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business.
- Business website or social media page

2. Step-by-step connection flow
- Log in to MyOperator.
- From the left menu, select WhatsApp → Accounts.
- Click Apply for WhatsApp Business API.
- When prompted, sign in with your FBM credentials.

- Fill in required business details:
- Business Name
- Website or Social Profile
- Phone Number (with no existing WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business)

- In the next step, select the WhatsApp account or create a new account.
- Click Submit to send the request to Meta for review (average ≈ 1 hour).
3. What happens after Meta approval
- Your account is approved along with your display name.
- In the next step, phone number verification is done. You can select your own number (no existing WhatsApp), or you can choose a MyOperator number as well.
- MyOperator automatically provisions API access.
- You can create message templates and handle incoming chats inside the MyOperator panel only after your number is verified and your account status is "Live".
