Automatic Contact Saving from WhatsApp Campaign Recipient Files


When you upload a recipient file during WhatsApp campaign creation, the system can auto-save those recipients into your Contact Book. This keeps your customer list updated without extra steps—provided your file meets the required format.



✅ Conditions for Automatic Contact Saving


The system will automatically create or update contacts if your file includes the required columns with valid data:

💾 What Happens After a Successful Campaign?


  • 🔍 Matching: Each recipient is checked against existing Contact Book entries.
  • ➕ New contacts: If no match is found, a new contact is created.
  • ✏️ Updates: If a contact exists but the name differs, it will be updated.
  • ✅ Confirmation: You’ll see a message such as: "10 new contacts saved to Contact Book."



❗ What Won’t Be Saved


The system will skip saving if:


  • File is missing required headers (Name, Phone number)
  • Rows contain invalid or blank phone numbers
  • Duplicates already exist in Contact Book
  • Unsupported formats or country codes are used
