MyOperator – Internal Vision Mission Memo
⚡ Review this memo on Day 1 (or whenever you need a strategy refresher) to align your priorities, decisions, and career goals with the company’s long-term direction.
It lays out our vision, mission, competitive moat, operating principles, and the personal upside of building the global Business AI Operator together.
1. Why this memo exists
- We are not here just to maintain a product or execute tasks. We are here to build something that, if we do it right, will outlast all of us:
- A platform that becomes the Business AI Operator for companies around the world – the place where AI agents and humans run customer communication, growth and, eventually, commerce together.
- This memo is our internal North Star: what we are building, why it matters, and why it should matter deeply to you as a professional and as a human being who wants to create impact and wealth in your lifetime.
- We are not a family. Families are unconditional. We are a team of ambitious professionals, choosing to play a hard, important game together – and to win.
2. Our Vision
To establish MyOperator as the global Business AI Operator that governs how companies communicate, sell, and serve customers, turning every interaction into measurable value.
- Global: India is our proving ground, not our boundary.
- Business AI Operator: We are not “a tool” on the side; we sit at the centre of how businesses talk to customers and make money.
- Measurable value: everything we do must tie back to economic outcomes.
3. Our Mission
Our mission is to build a product-first Business AI Operator platform that unifies calls, messaging and data, and deploys AI agents that work alongside people to run customer communication end-to-end – continuously learning from every interaction, enforcing structure and best practices, and tying our own growth directly to the value we create for our customers.
Key ideas inside this:
- Product-first, platform-first – We build a system that thousands of businesses can adopt with minimal custom work, not a services company that customises itself for each enterprise.
- AI agents + humans – We are designing the future where AI agents handle a huge share of sales, support, and engagement, with humans focusing on judgment, relationships and strategy.
- Structure and best practices – We do not just “enable” communication; we bring order, standards and proven playbooks into chaotic customer interactions.
- Value-linked – Our success must be linked to how much revenue and efficiency we create for our customers.
4. Our moat and right to win
If we want to attract the best people and move fast, everyone must understand why we have a real right to win in this race.
4.1 Deep telephony roots in a hard market
We started when almost everything ran on telephony. We chose a path that very few companies were willing or able to take:
- Building a reliable, scalable telephony platform in India is hard – regulatory complexity, infra complexity, carrier integrations, reliability, compliance.
- That is why there are only a handful of serious players in this space. Surviving and growing here for years is itself a moat.
From that foundation, we did something powerful:
- We connected calls + WhatsApp on the same phone number, creating a unified identity for customer communication.
- Today, we are one of the rare platforms in India that genuinely does call + WhatsApp at scale on a single platform.
4.2 Data moat: the full conversation journey
For most of our customers, 95–99% of their customer interactions happen on calls and WhatsApp. Because we operate both channels, we see:
- Who called/messaged, when, and how often.
- What was said, how issues were resolved, and what led to a sale or churn.
- How the best-performing teams talk versus the average ones.
This gives us:
- A rich, longitudinal view of each business’s customer relationships.
- A unique training ground for AI agents – AI that learns from real conversations, not synthetic examples.
- A defensible data moat: if conversations are the fuel for AI, we are sitting on the fuel tank.
Because we already run the core communication stack, we have the first right to build the AI layer that:
- Learns from human conversations.
- Starts handling more and more work on behalf of humans.
- Creates a loop where AI learns from humans and humans learn from AI, and both get better together.
4.3 Financial resilience and long-term thinking
We have built a real business with meaningful revenue and thousands of customers. This matters for you because:
- We are not forced into short-term decisions by fundraising pressure.
- We want to raise capital to accelerate, but our survival is not tied to the next round.
- That gives us the freedom to take bold bets (like Heyo) without gambling the company’s existence.
Our moat is a combination of:
- Hard-won telephony + WhatsApp infrastructure.
- A unique, deep data asset of real conversations.
- A proven team that has been building and shipping for years in a tough market.
- Financial strength to think in decades, not just quarters.
This is not a generic “AI startup”. We start from a strong, differentiated base.
5. Why AI is now the core of our future
AI is not a side project at MyOperator. It is the natural next layer on top of what we have already built.
We are moving from:
- A communication platform that routes and records conversations, to
- A Business AI Operator that understands and acts on conversations.
The platform we are building now will:
- Let AI agents learn from years of call and WhatsApp history.
- Allow those agents to handle FAQs, lead qualification, follow-ups, appointment booking, order tracking, renewals, and more.
- Escalate to humans with full context, and then learn from how humans resolved the case.
Over time, this creates:
- AI agents that behave like the best-performing human teams.
- Human teams that get augmented by AI, not replaced – they work on higher-value problems.
This is why we must communicate clearly, internally and externally, the measurable outcomes we drive with AI, such as:
- Revenue uplift – higher conversion rates, better follow-ups, more recovered leads.
- Cost savings – fewer manual calls per outcome, lower cost per conversation.
- Response-time improvement – faster first response, faster resolution.
- Quality metrics – better CSAT, NPS, and first-contact resolution.
The more clearly we show these outcomes, the more urgency and belief we create – in customers, investors, and in ourselves.
6. Why speed and blitzscaling matter now
Up to now, we have proven that we can build and sustain a strong communication platform. The next phase requires something more: speed and scale.
- The AI opportunity is now, not ten years from now.
- The players who move fastest with the right product and data will shape the category.
Experiments like Heyo are not distractions. They are our way to:
- Test blitzscaling motion – simpler onboarding, faster activation, viral loops.
- Reach segments and use cases at a pace the legacy approach cannot match.
- Learn what it takes to serve millions of users, not just thousands, on a product-first model.
For you, this means:
- You are not just maintaining a mature product; you are part of a high-speed scale-up phase.
- The impact of the next 2–3 years of work can be disproportionately large – for the company and for your own trajectory.
7. Why this matters to the world
Every business runs on conversations:
- Who they reach.
- How quickly and intelligently they respond.
- How they nurture, convert, and retain customers.
Most companies still handle this with fragmented tools, random processes, and human heroics.
If we succeed:
- Millions of businesses will earn more revenue from the same or lower effort.
- They will serve customers better and waste less time.
- Entire local economies will become more productive because their businesses communicate and operate more intelligently.
We are not just “adding a feature” to the world. We are upgrading the economic engine of businesses by upgrading their customer communication.
That is a real impact.
8. Why this should matter to you – personally
You can make a salary in many places. The question is: what does your work compound into over 5–10 years?
At MyOperator, if we stay true to this mission:
- You are building a platform, not a project. Work done once can affect thousands – and eventually millions – of businesses. That kind of leverage is rare.
- You are working at the centre of value creation. We sit close to revenue – how businesses talk to customers, close deals, and retain them. Understanding and shaping this is one of the most valuable skills for your entire career.
- You participate in the upside of a growing operator. As we help businesses make more money at scale:
- The company grows.
- The pie grows.
- Your opportunities for growth – role, learning, compensation, reputation – also grow.
- You earn the satisfaction of building something that genuinely matters. The pride of saying "I helped build the system that runs customer communication and growth for thousands of businesses" is deeper and longer-lasting than any single paycheck.
If this does not excite you, we are probably not the right team. If it does, then this is the right place to pour your best years into.
9. How we play the game (our operating principles)
As a Ruler + Sage brand and team, we stand for structure, clarity, and wisdom applied to real business outcomes.
- We are platform-first, not services-first.
- We design features and processes that can work for 10,000 customers, not just one big logo.
- We avoid getting lost in endless custom implementations and stakeholder circus.
- When we say "yes" to deep work, it must move the platform forward for everyone.
- We own economic outcomes, not just activity.
- We measure ourselves by revenue impact and efficiency for customers.
- Retention, expansion, and adoption of our platform.
- Tickets closed, lines of code written, or calls made are inputs, not victory.
- We think in systems, not hacks.
- Every problem we solve, we ask: "How do we solve this once so it never returns – for any customer?"
- We prefer building reusable components, playbooks, and automations over quick fixes.
- We are a professional team, not a family.
- Professional = clear expectations, high standards, direct feedback.
- We are here to win a meaningful game together, not to avoid discomfort.
- The right people stay because the mission, growth, and standards are worth it.
- We are globally ambitious, locally sharp.
- We learn fast in India and similar markets, because they are complex and demanding.
- We build with the mindset that the same platform should be usable worldwide.
10. What we expect from each of us
No cult exists without commitments. For MyOperator, that means:
- Think like an owner of our customers’ P&L. Does this help our customers make more money or become more efficient? If not, why are we doing it?
- Design like a platform architect. Would this decision still make sense if we had 100x the customers?
- Communicate like an operator. Clear, structured, honest communication with teammates and customers – we must embody what we sell.
- Choose learning and leverage over comfort. Hard problems in AI, communication, and product scaling are exactly where we should gravitate.
11. Closing: the invitation
We are at a point in history where AI is about to reshape how businesses operate. Most people will watch that happen. A smaller group will implement tools on the edges. An even smaller group will define the platforms and operators that everyone else runs on.
This memo is a clear statement: MyOperator intends to be in that last group.
If you are here, you are not just an employee. You are a builder of that operator. If we do this right, the economic outcome, the learning, and the pride will all be outsized.
This is the game we are choosing to play together. If you choose it fully, it can be one of the most meaningful chapters of your life.
