What happens to my recipient list after a successful WhatsApp campaign—does MyOperator save the contacts automatically?

2. What exactly happens after sending


  1. Matching — Each phone number is compared with existing contacts.
  2. ➕ New contact — If no match, a new record is created.
  3. ✏️ Update — If match but the name differs, the name field is overwritten.
  4. ✅ Confirmation — A toast/banner shows "XX new contacts saved."


Expected outcome: Contact Book now contains every valid recipient from the file.



3. When contacts are NOT saved


  • File missing required headers.
  • Phone numbers blank, malformed, or without a country code.
  • Header names changed to "Customer Name" or "Mobile."
  • Same phone uploaded multiple times in one file (only the first valid row counted).
