The Campaign Feature in WhatsApp Business API (WABA) lets you send promotional messages to multiple opted-in customers at once, using pre-approved templates. It’s ideal for sales alerts, loyalty campaigns, or event announcements.

Use the campaign feature when you want to:

Prerequisites


  • WABA Account must be live and verified
  • Message templates must be approved in Meta Business Manager
  • Users must opt in to receive messages

Steps to Launch a Campaign


  1. Log in to your WhatsApp Campaign dashboard.
  2. Go to Campaigns > Create Campaign.
  3. Choose a template from your approved list.
  4. Select or upload a target audience list (CSV with valid WhatsApp numbers).
  5. Review the preview and schedule/send the campaign.



Expected Outcome

Things to Note
