WhatsApp Rate Cards are the official source of truth for conversation-based pricing on the WhatsApp Business Platform. They’re published by Meta, refreshed monthly, and show the exact per-conversation cost across regions, currencies, and categories.

🔄 How Often Are Rate Cards Updated?


  • Monthly refresh by Meta
  • Updates also triggered when pricing changes occur
  • If changes happen mid-month, admins are notified via email and FBM alerts



⚠️ Limitations & Compliance Notes


  • Rate cards only cover conversation-based pricing (no extra session/media charges).
  • Local taxes (e.g., GST, VAT) are charged in addition to the base rate.
  • Currency is fixed at the FBM account level — you cannot switch currencies mid-cycle.
  • Not all currencies are available for all regions.
  • Rates are set globally by Meta and cannot be negotiated via BSPs (like MyOperator).
